Water Resources Association San Benito County "Get The Salt Out!" $150 - $300 Rebate Water Softener Replacement/Demolition Program

Qualifications:

Applicant must own a currently working water softener installed prior to November 1999.

Purchase a new demand-initiated regeneration (DIR) water softener for a $150 rebate.

Purchase a minimum 1-year contract with an offsite regeneration service for a $250 rebate.

Demolish your water softener entirely (with no replacement) and receive a $300 rebate (special rules apply, call for details).

Customers of the City of Hollister, the City of San Juan Bautista, the Sunnyslope County Water District and San Benito County Water District (Zone 6 only) are eligible to apply for this rebate.

Offer is limited to one (1) water softener rebate per household. Offer void where prohibited or restricted by Law.

Offer expires when funds are depleted.

The Water Resources Association of San Benito County reserve the right to verify customer eligibility, water softener sale, and installation before/after rebate is paid.

If you are replacing your old water softener with a new DIR softener or offsite service, the water softener must remain at an eligible site for a minimum of twelve (12) months after the installation date.

Four Steps to Receive Your Rebate:

Step 1. Before removal of your old water softener, call the WRASBC at (831) 637-4378 to set up a pre-removal inspection.

Step 2. After pre-removal inspection is completed and approved, you are eligible to purchase a new water softener, arrange for an offsite regeneration service or remove your existing water softener.

Step 3. Complete and mail the rebate application form with the original sales receipt* to the address listed below:

Step 4. A representative of the Water Resources Association will contact you for a post-installation/removal inspection. Once a post-installation/removal inspection is completed, allow 4-6 weeks to receive your rebate check.

*Copies of original receipt are accepted, please have original ready to show technician during post inspection
